This is a pre-release version of my main blog site, which will be released soon.

Currently, the Cloud environment has been deployed as follows:

• AWS CloudFront:
  
  
  • Used as a Content Delivery Network (CDN), integrated with AWS Route 53 for custom domain resolution.
  • Configured with an SSL Certificate (via AWS Certificate Manager) for HTTPS support.
  • CloudFront Distribution is connected to an S3 Origin through an Origin Access Control (OAC).
  
  
• S3 Bucket (static site):
  
  
  • Configured a new bucket to store the HTML build of the website;
    (files within bucket include  index.html, styles.css, assets/** , etc.)
  • The OAC generally handles any cross-origin requests from the same domain, making any CORS setup unnecessary for the static site bucket;
    (also note that due to OAC the bucket does not need to use the "static site hosting" feature)
  • Public access settings are disabled, but content is accessible via CloudFront to force access through the CDN (and HTTPS URL).
  
  
• Hostpoint (non-AWS):
  
  
  • An external domain provider (namely Hostpoint) has been used to register the custom domain associated with this site.
  • Alias records created pointing the domain to the CloudFront distribution (also providing DNS resolution for thorough domain handling).
  
  
  

Terraform has been used as Infra as Code (IaC) to deploy the Cloud environment described above...

w/ GitHub Actions used to streamline the entire process to deploy changes (for both this static site and IaC), triggered by a "push" on either repository.

Projects

Currently, all of my projects can be found in this repository, which includes projects:

• Spatio-Temporal Time Series Modelling (with a focus on benthic coral shifts in the Great Barrier Reef), and
  
• Dynamic HyperParameter Optimisation with Optuna.

I also conducted some Research Paper Reviews on leading papers in ML/AI, also located within the same repository.
